Strength training for golf is essential to helping you create a more powerful golf swing and help increase your longevity in the game. Although Strength training can bulk up your muscles and cause limited movement in your swing but this is where flexibility comes in.

The most important part of Golf Fitness training I am going to talk about is the importance of having a strong core. Referring to your abs and Back. Usually people tend to focus on bulking up their guns and think they have the power. But are never aware that having a strong core creates the power to execute absolute power.

I’m going to give you some very specific information to help you go out there and drive the ball out of the driving range.

Be aware if your diet is helping your training, I highly recommend to make serious changes to your diet because it will dictate your results, trust me on this one.

For Golf Training focus on eating on a regular basis fresh lean meats with no fat on them, fish and chicken and also eggs and peanuts. Muscle repair is really important after golf weight training so consume the right specific foods to maximise results. Important to note aswel is to keep hydrated so fluid intake is a must.

Now I highly recommend the use of a swiss ball.If you are not so confident at exercising these muscles I recommend you seek advice of an  expert or a personal trainer to show you some techniques and drills to get you maximum results. I highly recommend a Swiss ball than other ab workouts. Not only will a swiss ball give you great core results, it will also require you to use your whole body to project exercise so you will get a whole body workout. It will help you with flexibility aswel to power out your golf swing.
